Definition of women education
In some countries, all the people including girls and boys have the same chance to be educated.
Whether people can achieve a high level of education depends on the academic result but not
the sex differences. And the women’s education in our research simply refers to all women have
a right to be educated rather than some special courses which designed for women.[1]

Definition of Gender equality
In our real world, achieving the equality between two sexes is a hard work for us to do, but it does
not mean that we can deprive the right of other people. Gender equality we focused on is all
people can strive for the same rights and dignity in their society. There are no discriminations
when demanding the benefits in school, work, and society.

Female enrollment share in primary level and secondary level
From UNESCO defined that the meaning of Female enrollment share in primary level and secondary level is “Girls' enrolment share, primary level and secondary level are the numbers of girls enrolled in primary school, expressed as a percentage of the total number of pupils in primary school and secondary school” (Source: UNESCO )
  • To explain the proportion of girls in the schools of their own countries
Literacy rate
From CIA World Factbook defined the meaning of Male literacy rate and female literacy rate is “literacy rate is an estimate of the number of people in a nation or region who are able to speak, read and write” (Source: CIA World Factbook)

  • To reflect the people’s abilities working in the society as women entered the school, it does not mean that they know how to read or write if the schools only provide some special courses only for women, such as weaving clothes. As a result they cannot work in the formal market and do not have the abilities to compete with men in a society, since they do not know how to read or write.
